The Foundation seeks to bridge the digital gap and to
develop a more inclusive society where every citizen can benefit from the opportunities of the digital era.

In 2017, BeCentral was born as a grass-roots social venture co-founded by 64 social and technology entrepreneurs. Both a space and a community, it has quickly grown to become the most diverse tech ecosystem in Belgium, enabling more than 425 000 citizens to become makers of the digital future. The BeCentral Foundation extends BeCentral's mission outside its walls.

How? By funding, promoting and operating all kinds of programs in Belgium or abroad, provide education on new technologies, scientific and technological research and entrepreneurship.

BeCentral Foundation and our Partners makes it possible to create Code United, the free coding and theatre camps for children. The camps take place in the school’s holidays and is an offer for children from all socio-economic backgrounds.

Our dream is to keep on inspiring children and make this a recurrent initiative. To make this possible, we need your help.
