The BeCentral Foundation is a nonprofit born in an effort to fulfill BeCentral's mission outside of its walls. Starting as a tech campus and a community, BeCentral is now also a Foundation aiming to bridge the digital gap and empower all citizens to become makers of the digital future.

What do we do?

At BeCentral Foundation, we've created Code United to broaden children’s horizons in multiple aspects. Code United is about much more than coding, it is about learning social skills and building up their self-confidence.

With our free holiday camps, we're taking a step forward in closing the digital gap, ensuring every child has the chance to explore and grow with technology.

Make it possible

In 2017, BeCentral was born as a grass-roots social venture co-founded by 64 social and technology entrepreneurs. Both as a space and a community, it has quickly grown to become the most diverse tech ecosystem in Belgium, enabling more than 425.000 citizens to become makers of the digital future. The BeCentral Foundation extends BeCentral's mission outside its walls.

How? By funding, promoting and operating all kinds of programs in Belgium or abroad, provide education on new technologies, scientific and technological research and entrepreneurship.

BeCentral Foundation and our Partners make it possible to create Code United, the free coding and theatre camps for children. The camps take place in the school’s holidays and are an offer for children from all socio-economic backgrounds.

Our dream is to keep on inspiring children and make this a recurrent initiative. To make this possible, we need your help.
