Why Code United?
Let your child join a week of fun and educational experiences. At Code United, we are:
Teaching children social skills and tech talent
Fostering creativity and boosting confidence
Creating friendships across cities, ages and genders
Building memories for life
Why Coding?
To develop valuable skills
Giving young children digital knowledge is giving them the opportunity to pursue any career they want today and in the future.
To nurture creativity
Learning to code at a young age can help foster critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving and creativity. All essential to build the world of tomorrow.
To open new doors to girls
Introducing young girls to technology before gender stereotypes start setting in can help them feel empowered and give them alternative role models they can aspire to.
Why Theatre?
To boost self-confidence
Boosting self-confidence gets your kid ready for life’s events. We’re more inclined to move forward when we’re confident. It also helps them try again in case things don’t work out at first.
To open up to others
In a world where life isn’t always easy, opening up to others helps you get problems off your chest and it can alleviate the weight off your shoulders. It can also show you the way to solve the issue.
To improve stress management
Learning to manage stress can beneficial for both emotional and mental health. You’re taught how to better handle challenges life will give you.
Code United was born in the middle of COVID-19, as a way to thank our healthcare staff for their efforts. The output was even greater than expected which is why we keep on gathering children across Belgium to enlarge their horizons.

Julia Naeve
Program Officer
Growing up in a family of teachers, my journey has always revolved around learning and working with kids. By the age of 12, I was already quite involved, from teaching unicycling to assisting at refugee centers, and eventually leading youth groups.

What I particularly like about Code United is the impact we create for the children. Whenever I witness the joy and enthusiasm of the children, it’s a powerful reminder of why I’ve chosen this job.
